Antique Taxidermy Trout in Bow Front Case c.1900

This is an excellent example of taxidermy. The bow fronted case features a trout, posed naturally amongst river weeds. The case has a bowed glass front with a gilt enamel frame. The wooden body of the case has a black exterior with a pale blue interior and 'rocks' in the base.
