Georgian Mahogany Pad Foot Games and Tea Table C1810, A.F.

This is a charming, small Georgian tea or side table that opens up tp become a games table. The table has a wonderfully elegant form with a serpentine front edge and a complimetary shaped apron. The table is suported on four tapered legs terminating with beautifuly carved pad feet. The top has a concealed storage area that is accessed by rotating the table top to reveal the space below. The top once turned to this position is opened to become a games table. Opened up ready for play, the top retains the antique green baise that is worn and faded, there are shallow depressions in the four corners to hold counters or coins. A really lovely piece of furniture that is small enough to grace almost any home.
