Item Details
This is a wonderful pair of bellows dating to the late 19th century. The front and backplates have been carved in oak. The front features a head and shoulders portrait of an unidentified gentleman with a smaller female face below. The brass nozzle is beautifully shaped and is held in place by brass pins and woven leather. The backplate has really wonderful detail around the hole. The leather is in reasonable condition, the bellows still work well. The leather is held in position on the front and backplates by brass pins. This is a wonderfully decorative piece.
