Unique Carved Fruitwood Bowl 1970s

A magnificent and unique, fruit bowl carved from a single piece of fruitwood showing some beautiful graining and rich warm colour tones. It has a subtle sheen and varies in colour from a dark brown, to a light golden brown. The shape is very organic and the sculptor has used the natural shape and flow of the wood to create a very tactile item with a shape reminiscent of a vine leaf and is supported by four integral, sturdy feet. This wonderful statement piece would make a stunning centrepiece filled with fruit, sweets, or other small items.
